JESUS REVEALED

“When I saw him, I fell down at his feet like a dead man. He placed his right hand on me and said, “Don’t be afraid! I am the first and the last. I am the living one! I was dead, but now I am alive forever and ever. I have authority over death and the world of the dead.Write, then, the things you see, both the things that are now and the things that will happen afterward.”
Revelation 1: 17-19
Jesus is the first and the last. No one was before Him or is after Him. One may ask, the first and last of what? He is the first and last of everything. That is the presentation to the church, by the Holy Spirit. Jesus is everything, He is center stage. Nothing was here until He wanted it here and nothing will be left when He says it is all over. Also, Jesus is alive. He is not a dead god or a stone image. Yes, Jesus did die. He died as the savior of the world. He died on the cross for the sins of the world. He died so that men and women can repent and turn away from sin, so that they can live with Him forever.
Jesus is also alive forever. He is eternal. Death did not keep Him in the grave, but He got up from the dead. Jesus wants us to know that he has the keys, the power, the authority to open hell’s gates and death’s doors. By the way, that is what the devil promises if you do not know King Jesus. You will make it through hell’s gates and be with the devil forever. It will be too late after death; the doors to heaven will be shut. It will be too late to recognize Jesus. Too late to be in the theater of God and witness super natural things, while you are serving Him with your life. That what was being revealed to John and it is what Jesus wants us to know. He is the only one who can snatch you out of the devil’s hand. He is the only one who can snatch you from death’s doors. Now, that is the glorified Jesus. That is the Jesus that John saw. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Do not get it twisted; Jesus is star of the show.
Questions: Who do you say that Jesus is?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, you revealed Your Son Jesus to John. We ask that You reveal Him to us as well. Help us receive John’s testimony. Jesus said, “Blessed are those have not seen, and yet still believe.” We thank you, in the Name of Jesus, Amen.
