THE PREACHING OF GOD’S WORD
“I have complete confidence in the gospel; it is God’s power to save all who believe, first the Jews and also the Gentiles” Romans 1:16
“How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!” Romans 10:14-15
Do not let the enemy deceive you into thinking that the preaching of God’s Word is not important. In fact, the Lord has chosen to reach the lost with the saving news about Jesus Christ and His sacrifice. This Good News promises eternal life to those who believe in Jesus, and that news is spread through the preaching of God’s Word. That is why you should not believe that you can hear without a preacher when the Bible says the opposite. That is how the Lord saves. You hear it, believe it and then Jesus comes into your heart. When that happens, you will never be the same. Hallelujah and Amen!
Question: How has the preaching of God’s word changed your life?
Prayer: Our Heavenly Father, we thank you for the preaching of your Word, we thank you for all the preachers, ministers, leaders, and pastors that you have sent out into the world. Amen!
